That's all folks

My last one for the day and also the worst photo. Everything on this card is Stampin Up (except the tiny snowflake which is Hero Arts). Well I have spent practically all morning at the computer, so it is about time I got up and did something productive, like maybe more card making. Oh I wish, so many other boring but essential things to do today. I will hopefully be posting a bit more regularly for a couple of weeks, as I have taken some time off work.

My posting today is a bit like waiting for a bus, you wait for ages to no avail and then four turn up all at once. Thank goodness I can drive now!! This is the first one I did for the Embellish challenge, but decided to have another go, I prefered my second effort but thought I would give you the chance to decide. 'Scuse the wonky photography. You wouldn't believe I have just finished a photography course would you?!!!

My time to Create colour challenge 6

I just love these PTI stamps, the images come out so clearly, blame my photography not the stamps as this picture isn't great quality.
The colours for this challenge were dark red, moss green, white and dark brown.

Stamp sets used:
Damask Designs
In Bloom

Embellish Polka Dot Paradise Colour Challenge

The colours for this challenge were Cream, Light orange, Orange and Burgundy. You must also use a polka dot pattern. Since I had nothing polka dot in the required colours, I set about creating it. Firstly on the reverse of the light orange card, I drew a grid and then punched holes at regular intervals. I then punched circles in the other colours and inserted them on the holes and voila, a polka dot pattern. The sentiment and flourish are from Paper Trey Ink, the scalloped oval - a punch from SU. The border punch is Fiskars.

Hero Arts Christmas

I recently bought this fab background stamps from Hero Arts, haven't had much time to play with it, but I love it. These cards are stamped with SU Choc Chip on kraft card. Christine will be amazed at my use of kraft ( I never liked it) but her stunning cards have converted me.

Where have you been?

Sorry, I have been very remiss with my posting, life just seemed to get in the way. I had a gentle reminder from one of my friends the other day that I had been neglecting my public. Well here we are lots to post today, this being just one of about 4. The stamp club girls and I did a joint order to Paper Trey Ink, well I say joint but the bulk of it was mine!! Here are some of my efforts with the new stamps.
The sets I have used are:
Autumn Abundance
Sprial Bouquet
Fancy Flourishes

The patterned papers are all stamping up and the ribbons are from American Crafts
