I am thrilled to say that today I have a guest designer spot for the Merry Monday Challenge #115.
The challenge is to create an all white Christmas card (the sentiment can be in silver). Here is my take on the challenge.
I cut a piece of card slightly smaller than my card base and used a Stampin Up framelit die to cut the shape. Next, I die cut the word merry from this piece of card and stamped my sentiment underneath. Then I ran it through an embossing folder. Altogether I cut 4 "merry's" and stuck them on on top the other to provide some depth and then placed the in the previously die cut slot in the card. I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the snowflake and layered this up four times too. The top layer I covered in white glitter. Finally I cut one more snowflake but just used the centre for added dimension. I adhered the cut shape to the card base with raised foam squares and added a few pearls to finish it off.
