Just Add Ink sketch challenge

Sketch challenge 223

I am going through a bit of a "Christmas in July" phase at the moment, so I thought I would use the sketch for a festive card. I am pretty happy with the actual sketch part of this card, but how to mount it and background had me stumped for ages. I tried SU starburst framelits in gold and silver mirror card, a scalloped circle in white glitter but none of it seemed quite right. Then I found a doily that was just a bit bigger than the image which I am happier with.

What an awesome Christmas card. You've really put a lot of thought into this. The doily offsets the image perfectly.

This is so sweet, Kerry, and I just love your use of blue. Yep, the doily was a perfect choice! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. xx

I love the little details on your card.. the yellow windows, red glitter and the doily background. Fabulous colouring of the mouse too! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink.

Lovely Christmas Card - I love the frilly little edge you have used. And the silhouette houses. Chantell JAI

What a gorgeous wintry Christmas scene. Love the pop of green on the scarf, too :).
