Just Add Ink sketch challenge

Sketch challenge 223

I am going through a bit of a "Christmas in July" phase at the moment, so I thought I would use the sketch for a festive card. I am pretty happy with the actual sketch part of this card, but how to mount it and background had me stumped for ages. I tried SU starburst framelits in gold and silver mirror card, a scalloped circle in white glitter but none of it seemed quite right. Then I found a doily that was just a bit bigger than the image which I am happier with.

What an awesome Christmas card. You've really put a lot of thought into this. The doily offsets the image perfectly.

Lovely Christmas Card - I love the frilly little edge you have used. And the silhouette houses. Chantell JAI

What a gorgeous wintry Christmas scene. Love the pop of green on the scarf, too :).
